Hilton Grand Vacations Room 23606 posted 10/13/2006

Nine of us stayed in room 23606 which afforded us a view of the north strip
which isn't saying much since the only notables we could see were the Strat
and Sahara. We could see the forlorn empty lot of the Crazy Horse Too (RIP).
I bunked up with Jimbo in a king size bed. In fact, all three bedrooms were
king sized beds, so three of the Hogs wound up sleeping on blow up
mattresses. I know that sounds cheesy, but it actually worked pretty well.
The other nice thing was that this was a two bedroom unit that connected
with a one bedroom unit. We wound up with three bathrooms, a big kitchen and
a smaller kitchenette in the one bedroom unit. The room was appointed well
with marble counter tops in the bathroom, kitchenette and kitchen. Joe's
bedroom had a Jacuzzi tub for two and a shower with FOUR shower heads. Ours
was a bit more modest, but still nice none the less. There was plenty of
closet and drawer space as well as two safes for our valuables. We really
appreciated the big refrigerator and we stocked up accordingly with bread, 5
pounds of salami, mayonnaise and about a half dozen cases of beer. The
living room was well appointed with comfy sofa and a 37 inch plasma TV.

The downside to the HGV is no casino. The other is no maid service. I guess
we could have sprung extra for it, but we decided to be extra vigilant and
refrained from the frat house style of living that we easily fall into on
trips. Other than that, we didn't mind the walk to the Stardust or to the
Venetian. Heck, we even stopped by Circus-Circus.Index
