Mandalay Bay Room 32211
View was great, straight-on view looking north up the strip. This wing towers over the porte cochere so you can count the number of stretch limos arriving, too. Off to the right could also see the end of the runway at McCarron where some of the tour helicopters are headquartered (no noise to speak of.) This was a wheelchair accessible room, twin beds, non-smoking. Bathroom had both tub and separate roll-in stall shower. Shampoo, conditioner, and mouth wash were the only toiletries I remember. Two telephones (three if you count the one in the bathroom), iron and ironing board, armoire with tv, two built-in closets. No safe in room, no honor bar. Room was about half way down the hallway, not far from elevators. If you use valet you can get to your room without going through the casino. If you self park, it's a hike. If you head out to the pool from your room you avoid the casino, too. Index

Mandalay Bay
Once spent a night at the Golden Gate.  Room was little larger than my closet.  I suspect all are about the same quality. Spent a night at Mandalay Bay.  Room numbers are FFWRR - F: Floor Number, W: Wing, RR: Room number.  I forget the exact room number but it was 141XX, room faced right down the strip and you could see all the way down to Mirage.  Awesome Awesome view.  Spent about half an hour-45 minutes taking it in that night. Minor distraction of a 4 story Marquee playing AD's though (wished I could hack into it and use a remote to watch TV).  The higher up floors would probably not have it. Incredible view though (much better than what I got at Mirage and Venetian). Index

Mandalay Bay Rooms 26315 26329

Long wait for check-in, but the rooms were ready early. After finding out the room(s) we reserved 2 months in advance were overlooking the parking lot, a quick adjustment by the desk clerk got us 26-315 & 26-329. Both had a view of the airport/pool area/mountains, which was actually quite interesting. All of the free goodies in the bathroom, which is outstanding & big, with a separate shower, bath, commode area. But, the room did seem a bit smaller to allow for the bath, so if you are a  bath fan this is one of the better ones. The bell desk was friendly and efficient, bringing up and taking the bags down. The room also had a iron, board & hair dryer for those who care. Everything but the in room safe (who knows why not). Index

Mandalay Bay Rooms 7301

Stayed in room 7301 . Honeymoon suite . Room was large but sparsely furnished with a king bed and a sofa . Other than that nothing special. Big  Jacuzzi in the bathroom . View from the small windows was the airport . Index

Mandalay Bay Room 27026

We had a much nicer stay this time, but still find it hard to recommend, due to the location, check in lines(30-45+ min),and Valet service(30-40 min to drop off or pick up)& comps which are nonexsistent unless your a very high roller. ROOM- 27026(I think) had a great view of the strip, all the amenities you'll need, big bath with seperate tub-shower & all the goodies. Everything but a safe & desk. Index

Mandalay Bay Room 23122

Booked through an internet special from the website. Paid $159 each night for Friday and Saturday, $99 for Sunday.  This came with a 2-4-1 breakfast at House of Blues, which we used, and 2-4-1 admission to the spa, which we did not.  I asked for and got an airport view (Bali Wing, room 23122.)  The first thing you noticed when you walked in the room was a LARGE stain on the carpet right inside the doorway.  I would have complained, but I liked the view and didn't really care.  It became kind of a joke during the weekend. what was the source?  Was it vomit, blood, something more sinister (and disgusting?)  The room was very nice, with a very large bathroom.  The bathroom takes up too much space in the room, and makes the layout awkward.  The sheets and linens are relatively cheap for such a nice place, but the floor to ceiling windows are great.  Generally, we are glad we stayed at MB, but will probably not stay there again.  The location is a problem, and food and drinks are very expensive throughout the property.  The clientele is young and kind of unruly. We saw many young adults obviously pushing the limits of alcohol capacity.  In short, it was not our scene.  Our group decided that next year we want to stay at Caesar's Palace or the Venetian.  Index

Mandalay Bay Room 30229 posted 8/27/06

It was only 4 or 5 rooms from the end of the hall.
The room was right over the Mandalay Bay sign that is next to the strip
in front of the hotel. It was in the Fiji wing. Nice room with floor to
ceiling windows, a nice big bathroom with a whirlpool tub and separate
shower. A separate room for the toilet and 2 lavatories. Nice tile
floors and great toiletries on the counter. The bed was nice and comfy.
There was a table and 2 chairs as well as a chair and footstool. Three
phones made it easy to make calls from anywhere in the room. There
where two closets of good size. One of which contained a safe. It was
not big enough for a laptop, but it was big enough for what we needed
it for. The room was clean and comfortable and that is what really
matters to us. Index
