Amenities: This place was a pleasant little surprise.  It is laid out like a 3 story apartment complex with an interior courtyard that houses a small pool and some gardens and fountains. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and the elevator is an oldie, slow, with new carpeting, and old Formica type walls. This room was a short distance from the elevator and overlooked the courtyard.  It was extremely quiet, possibly due to the wall-mounted air conditioner. Upon entering the room, to the left was a large open closet, in front of that was a sink, with useable cupboards below.  To the left of that was a separate bathroom with a tub, toilet and shower.  In the bathroom was another large linen-type cupboard. The room itself was quite spacious.  There was a bar, with two barstools, and a small kitchen area with a coffeepot, with free coffee, a sink, and a small refrigerator under the counter. Adjacent to this was the bedroom area with a large armoire housing a new TV, a king-size bed with two nightstands and a writing desk and chair. All the furniture, bedding, drapes and bedspread appeared to be new, and the room was extremely clean. They have a daily buffet breakfast for $1.99 which consists of fresh fruit, packaged rolls and Danish, cereal, milk, juice, toast and coffee. A free shuttle runs back and forth to Harrahs, every half an hour. Using the Smarter Living discount on the Smarter Living web site, our total cost for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night in July was $157.00.  Other discounts such as AARP and AAA would also be applicable. http://www/geocities.com/suiteeeee  Index
