Room 726 at the Gold Coast – near the elevators, spotlessly clean, bed seems spongy, table and two chairs, window in shower is interesting.  Room appears newly renovated, furniture seems brand new.  Artwork consists of two boating scenes and one of an egret in the everglades – drapes and bedspread don’t match, perhaps the renovation is incomplete.  View is of parking lot and strip in distance.   Index

Amenities: Spotlessly clean, king sized bed, table and two chairs, window in shower is interesting.  Room appears newly renovated, furniture seems brand new.  Artwork consists of two boating scenes and one of an egret in the everglades – drapes and bedspread don’t match, perhaps the renovation is incomplete.  Room was three doors from the elevators.
View: View is of parking lot and strip in distance. Nice at night, dull during the day.
Other: I was pleasantly surprised at the place, clean, well kept, small bathroom but outside sink area make it workable.  Staff were polite and helpful, valets went the extra mile in bringing my car around at 6:30 every morning and helping me unload every night.  Check in desk personal efficient, wake up call on time every morning (even the day I left when I planned to sleep in and forgot to tell them)

Received several coupons at check-in, including a nice dinner and three 2-fers for the buffet, as well as the ubiquitous "fun book". Index

King bed, no smoking, a view of low-rise
apartments or condos out back.  A pretty long walk from the elevator;
if you want to be closer, ask for a room number ending between 20 and
40.  Night tables with lamps on either side of bed, with one alarm
clock/radio and one phone (local calls are 75 cents).  High-speed
Internet is available at $10.99 for 24 hours via Ethernet cable or
wireless.  A round table w/two chairs is near window; on table are a
small coffeemaker with 2 packs of regular coffee, no decaf.  Near room
door is chest of six drawers, on top of which is another lamp, a
plastic ice bucket with 3 glasses wrapped in paper, and a 19-inch tube
TV.  A note left near the TV said they're installing 32-inch LCD TV's
beginning 5/1/06.  Sink area is partitioned from the rest of the room
but has no door.  Countertop and mirror are wide enough for two in a
pinch.  Four lights above mirror.  To left of sink basin are 2 small
vials of shampoo, 1 lotion, 1 soap and a showercap.  To the right of
the sink are an ironing board with iron, and a clothing rack with ten
theft-proof hangers.  To the left of the sink is a door leading to a
small bathroom with toilet and bath/shower combo.
